Why panel hole size controls push-mount selection
For importers and harness buyers in the Middle East, the first question is not colour or length. The automotive cable tie panel hole size decides whether a clip seats, locks and stays stable under vibration, heat and transport. A loose or forced fit creates rework.
Push-mount clips are specified by mounting style, hole range, panel thickness and bundle capacity. If any field is missing, ask for a drawing and sample before quoting a customer.
TOBEYHAO supplies these product categories for B2B buyers. Final selection must be confirmed in the quotation or PI.
- Confirm hole shape and measured diameter
- Confirm panel thickness at the fixing point
- Confirm bundle diameter and routing load
- Confirm insertion direction and service access
Approved item data for fir tree and arrowhead mounts
Item 002, Fir Tree Mount Clip, Part No. ALSFT5-01: specification 4.5-5.5 mm, push mount in round hole, bundle diameter 2.5-34 mm, mounting hole 4.5-5.5 mm, panel thickness 1-3 mm, material PA66, flammability 94V-2, operating temperature -40 to 120°C.
Item 003, Fir Tree Mount Clip, Part No. ALSFT6-02: specification 5.9-6.5 mm, push mount in round hole, unit weight 0.48 g, packing 500 pcs/bag. Mounting hole, panel thickness and material are not listed in the approved data. Confirm them by drawing and sample.
Arrowhead Mount Cable Tie / Clip items 058, 059 and 060 use push mount in panel hole. Their approved specifications are 3.6*160*1.3 mm, 3.3×130×1.15 mm and 2.5×110×1.1 mm. Each is packed 500 pcs/bag. Hole size and panel thickness are not listed for these items, so they must be confirmed from drawing and sample.

Panel hole and panel thickness decision rules
Start with the panel hole. For a round-hole fir tree clip, the approved range must contain the actual hole diameter. If the hole is outside the stated range, do not force the clip.
Panel thickness is a separate field. Item 002 lists 1-3 mm. If panel thickness is not listed for an item, request it in writing before selection.
Hole condition also matters. Burrs, paint, sealant, blind holes and hole orientation can affect insertion. Provide measured samples and photos for review.
Bundle, routing and material inputs before you choose
The bundle diameter is a separate selection field. Item 002 accepts 2.5-34 mm. For items without bundle diameter in approved data, measure the harness and ask for written confirmation.
Routing loads, distance between fixing points, abrasion and service access affect choice. A clip that fits the hole may still be wrong if the bundle is too large or too small for stable retention.
PA66 may be discussed for Item 002. For other items, material is not listed. If the application requires a specific polymer, confirm it in the quotation or PI.
Installation and specification decision section
Before installation, define insertion method, panel hole, panel thickness, bundle range, orientation and removal or reuse needs. This prevents line-side guessing and reduces rejected assemblies.
During trial, check finger force, seating depth, rotation, pull-out resistance and bundle movement. Use the actual panel material and thickness whenever possible.
If the clip is used near heat or UV exposure, request material and temperature data in writing. For Item 002, approved operating temperature is -40 to 120°C and flammability is 94V-2. Do not assume the same for other items.

Packing, carton planning and sample validation
Export packing should be quoted by item. Items 003, 058, 059 and 060 list 500 pcs/bag. Item 002 packing is not listed in the approved data.
For carton planning, confirm pieces per carton, carton dimensions, gross weight, label format and pallet requirement in the quotation or PI.
Order a sample set before mass purchase. Check clip body, locking feature, hole fit, panel thickness and bundle range against the drawing. Keep one approved sample as a reference.
For Middle East shipments, confirm documents, labelling and import requirements with a local broker or authority. TOBEYHAO does not provide local customs advice.
Enquiry checklist for Middle East B2B buyers
Send destination country and city, application, approved Item or Part No., mounting hole dimensions, panel thickness, bundle or tube dimensions, quantity, packing requirement, sample need and target timing.
If the item is not yet fixed, request a selection proposal with drawings for the shortlisted items. State whether the application is for a harness, panel routing or tube fastening.
Final size, tensile value, temperature range, certification, packing, weight and lead time must be confirmed in the formal quotation or PI.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose a clip by part number alone?
No. The part number identifies an approved item, but panel hole, panel thickness, bundle and application must be checked separately. Request a drawing and sample.
What if my panel hole is between listed ranges?
Do not guess. Provide the measured hole diameter and panel thickness. Compatibility must be confirmed in writing by the supplier.
Do the arrowhead items have known hole sizes?
Approved data for Items 058, 059 and 060 does not list hole size. Drawing and sample confirmation are required.
Is PA66 used for all listed items?
PA66 is listed for Item 002. Other items do not list material in the approved data. Confirm material in the quotation or PI.
What packing data can be quoted?
Items 003, 058, 059 and 060 list 500 pcs/bag. Carton quantity, weight and labels must be confirmed in the quotation or PI.
